In today’s world, sustainability is no longer just an option for businesses, it’s a necessity. Consumers are increasingly aware of the impact their purchasing decisions have on the planet, and they are seeking out companies that prioritise sustainability.
At Hello Wellness, we take our sustainable credentials very seriously. We are fully committed to doing our part to protect the environment.
If you want to see our eco efforts in action, head over to our instagram to watch cute reels like this one (warning, contains cute animals!)
Our office building was designed with sustainability in mind. It’s made from local timber and hemp plaster, so it has a much lower carbon footprint than traditional building materials.
It’s also powered by solar panels, which generate renewable energy and so reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. Additionally, we’ve installed air source heat pumps for heating and hot water, which are much more efficient than traditional heating systems. By reducing our energy consumption, we’re able to reduce our carbon footprint and lessen our impact on the environment.
We’re also committed to sustainable production and so we use a rainwater harvesting system to supply our herb and vegetable growing. By using rainwater, we’re able to conserve water and reduce our reliance on the local water supply.
We care about food miles and buy herbs from UK sources where possible. By sourcing our herbs locally, we’re able to reduce the amount of energy required to transport them. This reduces our carbon footprint significantly and herbs native to the UK provide all the properties we need.
We’ve also taken steps to make our products more sustainable by using plant-based capsules. This makes our products more accessible to consumers who follow a plant-based lifestyle.
Reducing waste is another key commitment for hello wellness and so we make our packaging as sustainable as possible. The packaging we use is recycled and biodegradable if at all possible, and fully recyclable otherwise. By using sustainable packaging materials, we’re able to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and protect the environment for future generations.
We believe in the power of organic farming and the benefits it brings to the environment and to our health. That’s why we’re working towards a fully organic range of products. By using organic ingredients, we’re able to reduce the amount of harmful chemicals that end up in the environment and promote sustainable farming practices.
Sustainability is a key commitment for us, and we’re constantly trying to make improvements with our business and share what we have learned with our customers. From our eco-building and solar power to our rainwater harvesting and plant-based capsules, we’re proud of our sustainable credentials, and we’ll continue to work towards a more sustainable future for all.
