3 Delicious Lemon Balm Tea Recipes

There are many lemon balm tea recipes out there that will just instruct you to grab a load of lemon balm leaves, whack some hot water on top and say job done.

Don’t get me wrong, that is a quick, fuss-free vehicle for getting the benefits of lemon balm, but I think there’s ways we can make our lemon balm tea even tastier and even more nourishing for our bodies – the kind of teas we’ll come back to again and again!

So here are 3 lemon balm tea recipes you can whip up in no time.

Important notes:

  1. Remember to wash all your ingredients before using – we don’t want any fertilisers or other nasty chemicals getting into our natural tea!
  2. Adjust to taste – play about with ingredient ratios and steeping time to find your ideal flavour strength, keeping in mind that more ingredients and longer steeping will deliver more of the beneficial compounds.
  3. Each recipe can be sweetened with honey, or sugar/agave syrup for vegans.
